In 1983 Denis Ryan Kelly Jr. was apprenticed in New York City to Fine Artists Sandy Skoglund and Agnes Denes. After graduating from Wabash College he began traveling and photographing in Europe and Latin America and was given an Exhibition at the Twining Gallery in SoHo, New York City. Then on September 27, 2001 he returned with trepidation to NYC for his dear friend's wedding. At the insistence of his artistic mentor, Agnes, he took his camera and went into the region around the World Trade Center. This multimedia exhibition is the result of hours of sharing stories and photographing in lower Manhattan. It is full of portraits, cityscapes, and poignancy.
